National Geographic’s Ten Most Threatened Forest Hot Spots Named

In carrying on with the theme of around-the-world photos, I came across this amazing article by National Geographic. The photos are fantastic, like National Geographic would allow anything else, but the articles are definitely worth a read.

In some areas of Cambodia, more than 90 per cent of the natural habitat for certain species has been wiped out while in the mountains of China, only 8 per cent of the much needed food supply for Pandas remains.

It is a wake-up call to how much of the environment has been destroyed either at the hands of man, or from natural disasters that many believe, are caused by man. It’s a great article to read, to understand and to care about.
