Who am I? I am a former university student, in-school mentor, corporate guru, world traveler and current freelance writer.
During the recession of 2008 I found myself in a predicament that changed my course in life. Unbeknown to me at the time my professional and personal pursuits faced an entirely new direction; one that I would love.
I spent many years performing technical writing and editing duties from a small office in a big city where I often gazed out the window wishing to be anywhere but where I really was.
Thanks to the recession I am no longer stuck gazing. My corporate job of 12 years came to an abrupt end. I decided to take a leap of faith and do something I had always wanted to do. I picked a tropical paradise and moved away from office jobs, city traffic and snow. I also adopted two loving companions.
I am no longer a university student, in-school mentor or corporate guru. I am however, a full-time freelance travel writer. For work I write about travel, I create news blogs and I provide web content. For pleasure I blog about whatever ails me, irks me or makes me smile.
As for the world traveler, always…
